The Royal College of General Practitioners is hosting a free
webinar for GPs and GPNs which aims to describe how access to GP
online services contributes to person-centered care in patients
with mental health conditions.
We present the case for recommending online record access to
patients with mental health conditions. We also look at the
importance of considering physical health and comorbidity in
patients with mental health conditions and how GP online services
can be used to manage long-term and comorbid conditions.
1. How the practice can use Patient
Online record access to support patients with mental health
2. Highlight the need to consider the
risks associated with online record access in patients with mental
health conditions but also how to mitigate some of these risks.
3. How patients can use online record
access to monitor not only their mental health condition but also
comorbid long-term conditions and physical health.
Join our panel of experts as they explore how Patient Online has
the potential to address issues that matter to individuals and
carers. Participants will have a chance to ask questions and share
their ideas with the panel.
The RCGP’s Patient Online programme is running a series of
webinars looking at how online transactional services and record
access support a person-centred approach to care and enable
empowerment and ownership of the management of care. It is doing
this by looking at five clinical areas as exemplars. For more
